The Sarnagati Building, located at Pakistan Chowk is an impressive red sandstone building. In 60’s its first floor was donated to British Council and turned into a library. The second floor had an art studio for emerging artists. The ground floor had printing press and publishing house. The headquarters of Sindh Sudhar Society was also here. It oversaw the launching, circulation and distribution of many quarterly publication like Ismat and Saraswati.
